The First Persian Carpet Free Workshop in Los Angeles - Farsi Version
RugIdea.com with more than half a century experience in Persian carpet trade, will
hold its first Persian carpet FREE workshop in Los Angeles in Farsi. This event will
be accompanied by an exclusive video presentation on Persian rugs. Live
demonstration of weaving and repair will be also done on site. Some of the topics to
be covered will be:
1- Rug buying and selling tips
2- Rug pricing
3- Good rugs and bad rugs
4- Vacuum cleaning tips
5- Rug storage tips
6- Question and Answer session

This 2-hour workshop will be performed by Dr. Khosrow Sobhe, the founder and
CEO of RugIdea.com. Sobhe is a member of the board of the Iranian Carpet
Exporters’ Association. He is a board member to the Textile Museum Associates of
Southern California, TMA/SC. He is also an Industry Partner of the American Society
of Interior Designers, ASID Los Angeles chapter. Khosrow Sobhe is a member of the
Textile Group of Los Angeles, TGLA. He is the Editor in Chief of Iranian Handmade
Rugs, a quarterly magazine published by the Iranian Carpet Exporters’ Association.
Khosrow Sobhe is the award winning producer and importer of Persian carpets. He
has written numerous articles in Farsi and in English on different aspects of Persian
carpets and Oriental rugs. He has delivered many lectures on Persian rugs in
different occasions.
